The brilliant Ms. Gram and I have been selected to present at our state and national art conventions! We will be at the Georgia Conference in Macon, Georgia on October 3rd. In March we will be at the National Convention in New Orleans. If you are going to either of these mega-gatherings please come say hello!
Our workshop is:
Connected Classroom: Building your network through blogging and technology (Gram & Katzin)
Explore how to use personal blogging and other interactive resources to incite professional growth, build your own personal learning network, and renew your enthusiasm for teaching.
I am so excited to level up on some professional development and learn some new tips and tricks for Art Ed.

How exciting! I’m presenting at OAEA in November and I HOPE to go to NAEA again. Last year was so much fun! At least if I get to go to NAEA again, I won’t be running around trying to catch presentations I didn’t really want to see cause it was part of a travel study credit!

That’s awesome! Presenting is so much fun and a great way to connect with other teachers. I know what you mean about scurrying around trying to catch workshops. I find that about a third of the time I am kind of dissapointed in what it actually is compared to the description in the booklet. I’m getting better at being able to spot the good ones lol! If you make it to NAEA in March please come say hi! 🙂
